I aim to send out all products sold within 48 hours of purchase on working weekdays (Monday to Friday).
Any orders placed over the weekend will be sent out from the start of the working week.

Custom orders will be shipped out using the same methods listed once they are complete and paid in full. Each custom order is different and will take varying amounts of time to be completed, which will be discussed in detail prior to acceptance of the project.

All items to the UK are sent out using Royal Mail Recorded which includes insurance and signature on receipt for peace of mind. For large, heavy or multiple items, a courier service will be used with the same insurance and signature service included.

Each item is prepared for posting with the greatest care and attention, always using protective packaging, combined with tried & tested securing methods. In a bid to reduce, reuse and recycle, I aim to use recycled materials in all of my packaging. This may mean your item arrives in a toaster box with scrunched up newspaper or tucked into a well loved envelope, but these materials are one step forward to less landfill and and a smaller carbon footprint!

Lost or Damaged Parcels

Whilst every effort is made to ensure your item arrives safely, I cannot control the postal system. If you encounter any issues with the arrival of your item please first check the tracking information sent to you in your order confirmation email to see when it was last updated. If there is still no change, please contact me as soon as possible and I can look into the problem for you. In the extremely unlikely event your parcel arrives damaged, you must contact me within 14 days of receiving your item in order for me to make a claim with the postal service.

International Shipping

Due to the many wildlife laws, taxidermy import/ export regulations and strict border controls around the world, I currently only ship Taxidermy items within the UK.

There are instances where i can ship some Taxidermy items internationally, so long as the customer is able to check their state/country border controls and any applicable import requirements for said specimen.

Local Collection

It is possible to collect any of the items sold on my website from my studio.
Please ensure you prearrange this by contacting me here or you can send me an email.


Due to the bespoke nature of the products created and sold by Alexandra Rose Taxidermy, I do not accept returns unless you believe you have received an incorrect item. Products sold are always described and photographed to the best and truest representations of themselves and custom orders are always at minimum, visually approved by the buyer before final payment is made and the item is posted.
